For most business with the town government, you need to fill out an online form. These may be anything from a one-page form to an application of several pages (for example, for a building variance).
If you have difficulty using an online form or have little or no computer experience, contact Town Hall for help.

Forms at Town Hall
- New or renewed vehicle registration
- New or renewed dog license
- Transfer Station disposal permits for items such as appliances, electronic equipment, furniture, and other items
- Building permits and applications for variance (see the Building Dept.)

Municipal Stickers
Stickers are required for residents to access the Town Transfer Station and the Town Boat Launch. You can obtrain one free of charge at the Town Clerk's office.
Form for E-Mail Notifications (E-Alerts)
The town web site has an online form with which you can
subscribe to receive e-mail notices dealing with town business. These notices include the following:
- Urgent alerts
- Town news and updates
- Meeting agendas for various departments, boards, committees, and commissions
- Meeting minutes
You have no excuse to be an uninformed resident.
The form, now called Notify Me, contains a long list of information types grouped into categories. Click on the Notify Me Sign In button, enter your e-mail address, create a unique password, and then click on SIGN IN to access the list.
In the following sample, notice the two tiny icons in the METHOD column. Click on the left icon to receive an e-mail notice, or click on the right one to receive a text message. A message box will request your cell phone number.
